Darren had his first set of shots today, and he did really well!
He did cry, but only as she put the shot it...once she took the needle out, he was done. I felt so bad because his face got all red, and he started screaming and pouted his lower lip :(
We are doing the Dr. Sears alternate vaccination schedule just to be on the safe side...all these stories of Autism kind of scare us so we wanted to take any precautionary methods possible. The maximum amount of vaccinations that we'll allow them to give are 2. This means that he will be getting shots every month, for the first 7 months instead of every 2 months.
Today he had:
Rotavirus - This is the virus that cause the stomach flu in babies
DTaP - Diphteria, Tetannus, and Pertussis (Whooping Cough)
He was a little fussy, lots a little of his appetite, and ran a very light fever. We just gave him Tylenol every 6 hours to control his temp.

Height: 23 1/2 Inches (60th Percentile)
Weight: 12 Pounds 3 Ounces (60th Percentile)
Head: 14.5" Inches (15th Percentile)
